Faith is not just for Sunday.
The marketplace is where we work, sell, negotiate, lead, create, employ, serve and make decisions. It is where our values are tested and where our character becomes visible. For us, the marketplace is not separate from faith. It is one of the places where faith is lived out.
CWMP creates a safe and honest space for women to talk about the things that affect their everyday lives. We talk about business and careers, money and leadership, motherhood and purpose, relationships, failure, success and faith. These are not abstract conversations. They are conversations about the realities women are already experiencing.
We want women to be able to ask difficult questions, share what they have learned and find encouragement from women who have walked different paths.
We believe the marketplace belongs to every woman.
It is the woman selling tomatoes before sunrise. It is the woman running a salon from her home. It is the farmer, the trader, the creative, the young graduate and the woman working from her laptop. It is the woman on a construction site, the professional building her career and the executive sitting in the boardroom.
Their businesses may look different and their journeys may be different, but they all have something to contribute. Every woman has something to teach, something to learn and something to build.

The next generation of women should not have to enter the marketplace without guidance. CWMP Next creates a space for young women to develop confidence, discover their gifts and begin their marketplace journey with purpose.
Marketplace Prayer
We believe our businesses, careers, decisions and dreams can be brought before God. Marketplace Prayer creates space for women to pray together, seek God and support one another spiritually.
Marketplace Connect
Opportunities often come through relationships. Marketplace Connect brings women, businesses, ideas, skills and opportunities together so that women can open doors for one another.
There is a generation of women who are not only looking for opportunities. They are creating them.
There are women who are not waiting for someone to give them a seat at the table. They are building tables. They are starting businesses, creating jobs, solving problems, developing products, employing other people and creating opportunities in their communities.
They are also raising children, caring for families, navigating difficult circumstances and finding ways to keep moving forward. Their stories may not always make headlines, but they are building every day.

CWMP begins with the story of three women, but the vision reaches much further. Across Africa, women are building businesses, careers, families and communities in ways that are often extraordinary and sometimes unseen.
We want CWMP to become a place where women from different countries and backgrounds can find one another, learn from one another, build relationships and create opportunities together.
Our vision is not to make every woman the same. It is to create a community where our different experiences, cultures, industries and generations become a source of strength.
